User Experience Research Lead

User Experience research project for a new responsive web product to easily visualize sales insights to business owners, compared to their competitors, based  on MasterCard transaction data.

UX Research Process:

  • Design Thinking workshops conducted via Miro for UX discovery

  • Developed a series of personas for small business users

  • Journey Map created for high level future vision of the experience design

  • Initial heuristic review of a series of wireframes

  • Usability Tests of Figma prototypes with users matching personas

  • PowerPoint (PPT) decks delivered with usability results and recommendations

  • Highlight video clips were integrated with the PPT's, which drove UX changes

  • Usability Testing performed as part of UAT for final sign-off of the application

  • UX research surveys were performed on a quarterly basis for future enhancements

UX Research was performed on early Figma prototypes to refine the design from gray-scale wireframes to high fidelity design comps and provided to the front-end development team with XR throughout the product evolution.
